Blessing of the Waters 2011 in the Village of Placitas by Mayordomos Lynn
Montgomery (Acequia La Rosa de Castilla), Harvey DeLara (Las Acequias de Placitas) and Mary McDonald (Las Huertas Community Ditch). The Blessing was given by Rev. Drew Henry of
Las Placitas Presbyterian Church. This was a revival of an old tradition in Placitas and will be held again in 2012 at a date and place to be announced. The banner was donated by local artist Gene
McClain.
